Words of Inspiration and Motivation

"Take your ego out of it and think about what's best for this child."

"Teachers can motivate students only if they themselves are motivated.  They can make students feel valued and secure only if they feel valued and secure; they can foster enthusiasm for learning in students only if they are enthusiastic about teaching."

  1. Dianne,

I really like your quotes. That's why every morning I put a smile on my face and try to make my lesson exciting for my students, because I don't know what they had to go through before their school day begin.

  2. Dianne,

These are great quotes and we really should try to live by them expecially since we work with young children and are modeling behavior for them. We need to make their time with us fun and educational and help them explore as much as possible. we need to put some sunshine it their day whenever we can just in case they need a little extra.

  3. Yes, teachers must be motivated and inspired in order to provide effective instruction. If a teacher feels stressed and unmotivated this will reflect in her students and their ability to learn. We should remain positive and help them make their learning experience as fun and exciting as possible.
